So... just learned what the thin privilege is... wtf?!

lol, wtf is this shit? Saw some of this stuff online.

All of it just sounds ridiculous to me.

    I mean #13:

Airlines won’t charge you extra to fly.

They charge you extra when you start to pour into somebody else's seat

    #21:

The media doesn’t describe your body shape as part of an “epidemic”.

Ummm, obesity and morbid obesity is fucking bad for you.... especially when your body is struggling just to keep you alive

This is just some fat people complaining on some dumb crap

irony is, those who talk about this **** are the ones who are privileged. if you have time to think about such stuff, you know your life is pretty easy. thomas sowell described people like this best... 'squeaking wheels'. with a real squeaking wheel, you just apply oil and the noise will stop. with these people, no amount of oil will stop their whining.

      "Lay off them doughnuts, fatty!"

      I laughed.

Most of them are just ****** like complaining about having to pay more for taking up more space or paying more because your clothes require more fabric.

Maybe I'd take the whole "fat acceptance" movement more seriously if these feminists actually gave a crap about fat men. They only care about accepting fat women.

But what really pisses me off is that feminist websites cherry pick the very few studies where experts that suggest that in some cases, being overweight doesn't necessarily mean your health is in danger, then provide portions of the study in articles that are titled: "Proof that being overweight isn't unhealthy". Its really grasping at straws.

Its ridiculous. I mean are women so fragile that we have to deny the link between obesity and poor health just so that their feelings aren't hurt? Fuck off.

I still don't understand this stuff.... makes no sense to me.

I agree with the plane stuff because I had to sit on a 10 hour flight to some huge woman who was pouring into my seat... I paid over 1000 dollars to be uncomfortable.

Also morbid obesity is not good.

            1. You’re not assumed to be unhealthy just because of your size.

            2. Your size is probably not the first thing people notice about you (unless you’re being thin-shamed – the opposite of fat-shamed).

            3. When you’re at the grocery store, people don’t comment on the food selection in your cart in the name of “trying to be helpful.”

            4. Your health insurance rates are not higher than everyone else’s.

            5. You can expect to pay reasonable prices for your clothing.

            6. You can expect to find your clothing size sold locally.

            7. You can expect to find clothing in the latest styles and colors instead of colorless, shapeless and outdated styles meant to hide your body.

            8. You don’t receive suggestions from your friends and family to join Weight Watchers or any other weight-loss program.

            9. When you go to the doctor, they don’t suspect diabetes (or high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or other “weight-related” diagnoses) as the first/most likely diagnosis.

            10. You don’t get told, “You have such a pretty/handsome face” (implying: if only you’d lose weight you could be even more attractive).

            11. People do not assume that you are lazy, based solely on your size.

            12. You’re not the brunt of jokes for countless numbers of comedians.

            13. Airlines won’t charge you extra to fly.

            14. You are not perceived as looking sloppy or unprofessional based on your size.

            15. You can eat what you want, when you want in public and not have others judge you for it or make assumptions about your eating habits.

            16. You can walk out of a gas station with a box of doughnuts and not have people yell at you to “Lay off them doughnuts, fatty!” (This actually happened to one of my friends.)

            17. People don’t ask your partners what it’s like to have *** with you because of your size.

            18. Your body type isn’t ***ually fetishized.

            19. You’re more likely to get a raise or promotion at work than someone who is fat.

            20. Friends don’t describe you to others using a qualifier (e.g. “He’s kind of heavy, but REALLY nice, though”).

            21. The media doesn’t describe your body shape as part of an “epidemic”.

            22. You can choose to not be preoccupied with your size and shape because you have other priorities without being judged.

So, to conclude... LOSE SOME ****ING WEIGHT.

              From the comment section:

Kitty Lopez · Music Director at Mariachi Corazón de Phoenix

Before I had a gastric bypass, I had unkind comments like this directed to me on numerous occasions: One hot summer day 2 boys crossed the street to tell me that just seeing me ruined their day. Another time time at a Circle K convenience store a car full of young men pulled in, and one shouted out "look at the whale".
