Some in this thread have suggested castration which seems logically appealing although barbaric.

We don't mean chopping their balls off with a butcher knife. This can easily be done surgically or even chemically these days.

From what I've read a lot of pedophiles have done this by choice. Frankly a pedophile that has urges strong enough to want to obtain child ****ography should do the right thing and get castrated.

What if they are genuinely suffering from a mental disorder? Why cant "pedophilia" be labeled as a mental disorder like schizophrenia/bi-polar/OCD/etc.. and be treated and controlled before it is acted upon?

What if these guys don't want to be pedophiles but they can't help it because they are mentally ill and are afraid of seeking help?

This is a difficult moral question and I'm not sure about the answer. I guess it would depend on the context. But in relation to the OP, I think it's acceptable and even beneficial to let pedophiles with strong urges play with robots to satisfy those urges.
