They still do, and that's because there's a lot of ***s in powerful positions. Then there's the 2000+ year old stereotype of ***s being involved in finance. Some will say it's an outright ***ish conspiracy, and others will point to the Rockefeller, Buffett & Koch families (and others), who apparently aren't ***ish.

Yes but it's an old one. It's about 10 years old, but it works perfectly. When I'm not on my PC, I want to be no where near the internet.

Some conspiracy theorists are way out there, no question.

But there are also people that have put forth legit arguments based on research. It's not just about triangles.

Absolutely.. I don't understand how questioning/ being skeptical of the federal reserve or the shady dealings between government and corporations automatically put you in the same class as this guy:



I don't believe government leaders are lizards, or that **** Cheney blew up the WTC with a top secret Death Star ray gun.

It does however seem pretty convenient that if you question "the official story" on any given subject you will be dismissed as crazy. With the amount of corruption that has been displayed throughout history, on every continent, you would be a fool not to be skeptical of everything you hear or read.

It works both ways. If we are sceptical of conspiracy theories we are labelled sheep etc.
Or told that we believe everything the government say.

Personally i think most if not all governments and big corporations are corrupt, and they can buy silence and get up to all sorts of ****. But with conspiracies, the evidence is often a little flimsy. There are 'anonymous sources', and rumours about secret meetings, hearsay and scraps of censored documents. I think much of these stories and stitched together, and people just make a lot of it up.
They claim we are being fed misinformation yet much of what they tell us about what the government is up to is itself misinformation, poorly researched.
They latch onto an idea about an evil plot, but clearly arent being objective, and dont look for alternative explanations.
Of course this isnt true of every person who believes some parts of some conspiracies, but from people ive spoken to who are into it, they just eat up a lot of stuff they have read on the internet without questioning any of it, and then accuse other people of being sheep! lol.
