        The ones I've seen:

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 9/10
        Gone with the Wind 9/10
        The Ten Commandments 7/10
        Titanic 7/10
Doctor Zhivago 6/10 (cinematography & direction excellent, story bad)
        E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial 5/10 (a childrens' movie)
Star Wars 4/10 (really a childrens' movie)
The Avengers 3/10 (but I would have liked it when I was age 9)
        Avatar 2/10 (extremely overrated garbage)
Jaws 1/10 (real garbage, obviously made for people with low IQs)

Only two I really liked, a couple of others were okay.

          List 1 looks ****ing terrible, I enjoyed 2/9. I haven't seen Frozen.
Disappointing musically. Not up to Disney's usual standards, sounds like an off-Broadway production of a Broadway musical.

Jaws is a huge classic and a well crafted thriller. So you're utterly wrong.

Avatar and Avengers are pretty *****e. Transformers is too obviously. Skyfall is pretty good, but Casino Royale is better, not to mention From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. TDKR is great, as is ROTK, but there are better films in those respective trilogies.

sort of. jaws was supposed to be a creature feature. i guess it still is, but the greatness of the movie is obviously the human character. the mechanical shark broke / kept breaking down, and they ended up forcing the viewer to use his imagination. they kind of lucked into it.

jaws is one of, if not my favie movie of all time. it speaks to me. freedom has crap taste in movies, from what i've seen. he gave the return of the king better ratings than a new hope and jaws

he gave the avengers a better rating than jaws

ammity island is martha's vinyard. it's "the vinyard" to me.

tunney, work on your taste in movies.

i enjoyed / was entertained by avatar. i never saw skyfall or casino royale. russia and goldfinger were, like avatar, enjoyable / entertaining. i haven't seen from russia with love in at least 10 years. bale era batman is decent. i had a lot of fun with the lord of the rings movies.

all of that said, none of those are great movies. not even close.

Jaws would've essentially been a B Movie had it not been for one of the greatest directors of all time being behind the wheel. Roy Scheider's performance of course also adds in.
