feminism is the idea that men and women should have equal access to social and economic opportunity. it's the idea that ***ual hierarchies are the product of society and convention, not nature. finally, it is a social movement toward establishing and maintaining that equality.

Anyway who doesn't think that Women should have the same (constitutional) rights as Men?? Just because I'm not a feminist doesn't mean I am some backwards ****** from Saudi Arabia living in the stoneage....

They should be given the exact same constitutional rights as Men (which they have) and the same opportunity as Men (but not a guarantee)....Equal pay only if they can produce equal work not guaranteed equal pay...Nobody should be guaranteed anything....you have to perform

They shouldn't be discriminated based on their gender....they should be discriminated based on their performance if they can't perform up to the same standards as Men (which in some fields they can't)....

Women are already given the same opportunities as men, in the workforce. Problem is, imo women weren't meant to run things. Men are. That's why women are so confused/frustrated as a gender. They're consistently being told that they can do/be anything they wish, but they very seldom can work as hard as their male counterpart, in order to do so. Hell, there was a report a year or 2 ago that stated women bosses were increasingly becoming depressed to the point of needing medication and therapy..... all from doing things that their male equivalent had no problems doing.

Point is, women are given equal job opportunities as us. But just because they can do something, doesn't mean they SHOULD. it goes against their nature, which is to settle down with a dude and have kids.
