I don't necessarily think it was faked. I do have a hard time believing they could accomplish such a feat with technology in 1969 when 20 years later they still had difficulty getting a ship just to leave the atmosphere, though.

The moon landing was real, but the real Astronauts who went there never made it back. They got sent off to the **** Moon base and were replaced by humanoids from Neptune.
