this is true but the only major city in Canada that gets cold is where I live in Edmonton. if you consider regina a major city (250000) it gets cold too. Toronto, montreal, Vancouver don't get cold. at least not cold like the northern cities.it's tough to get insurance for our igloos, especially in summer when it's warm...here out west in the rocky mountains there are bears, wolves, mountain lions, etc... there are things that want to kill...

We sent a dorky kid from Stratford south and now look what happened.

Bieber is considered a yank now.

it gets cold in Toronto with the added disadvantage that you're in Toronto.

Canada is a nation that could have had the culture of the English, the industry of the Americans and the sophistication of the French. Unfortunately we got the culture of the Americans, the sophistication of the English and the industry of the French.

Saskatchewan and Manitoba both are miserable when it comes to weather. It goes -20 on average for 6 months. I may exaggerating but that still doesnt make it any less miserable. Ontario is the way to go followed by B.C. Alberta has all the jobs so ill give it 3rd.

Not to mention billions poured by Ontario in a useless effort to make it more bi-lingual where as you go to Quebec ppl pretend to not know English.

i'd be out of this ****hole Edmonton if it wasn't for work. we do have a good concert scene too but i'd prefer Toronto in a hearbeat. Vancouver rains too much but it is nice. too frigging expensive. I forgot to mention Manitoba... portage & main the windiest corner in the world. I laugh at all those lame "survivor" reality shows. we always said you think you are a survivor then drop them off in northern Manitoba I January with not many supplies. let's see how well they do...

they are brilliant at taking handouts from the west & refuse to get with the times. they are lucky to have all they do. that ****** student protest that went on for a year was the biggest joke ever & a complete embarrassment to Canadians. crying about a hike in tuition fees when they were still by far the cheapest fees in the country after the hikes. considering that 75% of university degrees in Canada are as useful as toilet paper... the majority of people making real money in Canada don't have a post secondary education & many don't even have a GHD... you can say that is unfortunate but what I see is the only unfortunate people are the ones racking up $50000 in student loans to make $32000\year...

I've lived in a Aus for almost 20 years and I've seen a brown snake once on school camp and seen a couple of red back spiders like twice and just stood on it.

The big killer here is skin cancer, believe it or not people still tan here.

I never go in the direct sunlight and I'm half black.
