I'm Canadian. 5 years ago I needed an MRI for my knee...I waited almost a year to get it. I then waited about another 3 months to see a specialist/surgeon...by that time the problem had resolved itself. It turned out that I had a partial ACL tear that healed up.

Ironically had the system not been so bad and underfunded and I had immediate attention...some butcher probably would have performed some needless surgical procedure to line his pocket with which I likely would have agreed to because I was in alot of pain. Don't believe everything Micheal Moore has to say because he really doesn't know the truth.

The thing about Canada is if you have an ailment that is not an emergency, you generally have to wait if it is elective. If it is an emergency, you get taken care of quickly.

I have no complaints. I have been well taken care of.

lol unless he was around in the 18th century, how would he know?

I've been to hospital a few times for various sc****s, they look modern to me. Not really sure what is missing.

One thing I will say is that the NHS can be kind of slow for non-emergency stuff, but you have the option of going private if you really want.

Nah, it's just that everything is geared towards making money. It's a much bigger place too so maybe difficult to implement a national health system.

Canada and England, you guys are lucky... i know there is a delay to see specialist but thats ok... if you need emergency care then you can visit the ER... i have no issues with your system.
