Some very good ones have been mentioned already.

There is a British series titled: Luther, starring Idris Elba (from The Wire), which I thought was decent.

I never got to finish the first season, but it's worth a watch if you like psychological dramas.

For current running shows I'd go with Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, Californication and Ray Donovan. For shows that have been completed try Entourage, Sopranos and The Wire. Haven't seen Breaking Bad myself but that's one I'm going to check out eventually.

Game of Thrones, OZ, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm, early seasons of Dexter before it totally **** the bed (season 5), etc...

I started watching OZ this morning. I watched 4 episodes already, lol. I'm sick though so I'm staying in my room this weekend.

I feel your pain, man. I've had sinusitis for the last week and a half and while I feel a lot better today than I did a week ago, I'm still pretty congested and unable to taste or smell.

Sons of Anarchy not mentioned here.. i smashed through the first 5 seasons quickly and it was great and some fantastic moments..
