    Define spirit.
I have to go and I can't read and reply to everything but I'll try my best with this one.

Spirit is the essence of all life, it's what separates from dirt and rocks at the most simplistic level. It's the universal understanding inside all who live that binds us together. Its principles are love, compassion, empathy, and understanding. I've seen cats and dogs display it. I've seen birds and other animals display it.

It's what separates us from lifeless things. A soul.

Nonsense......no such thing, no such proof of such a thing.

How do you know this and what proof do you have of such a thing.

I know it because I see myself in everything. Every thought and every feeling i've ever had has been felt millions of times before me. Nothing about me is original.

Everything I am, is a just a transfer of energy and molecules from one state to another. Every single cell that makes me what I am right now will be gone in a few years, replaced by completely separate cells.

If you watch a blind man walking down the street, you would be aware of all things he misses and a dimension of the world he could never understand. We are all blind.

How could he possible understand what light and color is, if he's never saw it. Yet it exists. How could a deaf person understand what music is? How could a person with no smell understand the fragrance of a flower or a beautiful woman etc.

Life is so much more complex than what our 5 senses can tell us, we should never even begin to suspect we understand it because of how absolutely limited our perception is.

Now you're just saying ridiculous things. You choose to believe these things because they make you feel important or special and that you have some unique place in the universe.

In reality, neither is true. We are but some species of humanoids that happen to evolve on some rock, at just the right distance from this really insignificant star in the corner of some insignificant galaxy.

There have probably been BILLIONS of beings like us, or not like us that have existed, and gone extinct and we didn't even know, or notice. The same will happen when we are gone.

Do we know all the answers to the universe? No, and we will probably never know. That doesn't mean we can make stuff up to fill in the blanks. You probably think you are deeper than me or have a better understanding of the universe than I do, well you don't.

What you have done is what billions on this planet do everyday and that's believe in something that is not there to bring purpose and order to their life. Because they are to weak to accept and understand the truth.

There is no magical place, we will not see grandma again and it's ok.

Every sense I have of life, brings a different dimension of awareness and a completely separate sense of reality no less profound. I only have 5 senses, and life has infinite dimensions. Sharks can sense electricity, Geese and other migratory birds can sense the earth's magnetic field, some animals have infrared vision.

Any man who knows a thing, knows he knows nothing at all. Nobody knows what happens when we pass, because nobody is alive to tell it.

We can barely even explain the world that we are alive in today, that we can only comprehend one second at a time.

Actually we have much more than 5 senses, that is a myth.

Not knowing all the answers to the universe doesn't mean you can make up the parts you don't understand.

Look, they say ignorance is bliss. It sounds like you are one of those people who choose to believe in things that aren't there to give you answers you might not ever have.

                I get it.

No my friend, life is bliss. The answers will all reveal themselves at the right time if you let them.

Understanding is in simplicity. If you cannot comprehend that, then I hope you will someday.

The soul is in perpetual communion with the divine. Only the mind can create confusion. Only the mind can create illusions.

Neither does assuming things using the logic of your model. I didn't open with that statement, you're the one who tried to sound all clever when your logic doesn't even begin to apply to the scenario you're talking about.

most people in here kind of have their belief base on what science or scientists offers
