Why do the English hate Andy Murray?

So this guy became the first man from the british isles to win the Wimbledon title in almost 80 years and now the English are calling him a Brit. That's cool he is from there but apparently when Andy was losing the same English media labelled him a Scottish man. So wtf? He's only good enough to be a Brit when he wins but if he loses he goes back to being a scot.

Is anyone else confused by how f***ed the English are.

First off, the majority of English people couldn't give a fuck about Murray. I don't know anyone who doesn't like him, they don't even has an opinion on him. It just boils from a few Scottish ****s making a remark about him being Scottish when he loses, British when he wins and thus, a stereotype is born.

always been a fan of his , even when he was a scrawny little kid when he burst onto the scene. and the press have that to blame if he isn't as well liked , just because him and henman were joking about the world cup or european championships.
