    What is your favorite Pizza?.

Them lot in the "classic movie scene" thread got me hungry, so i'm going to order one.

I'm going to go ahead and say it though...

Anyone who orders a pizza with tuna on it deserves the death penalty.

i suppose it depends a good deal on the kind of pizza. the thickness/crispiness of the crust, kind of cheese and sauce used, and the manner by which it's cooked are all important.

on the north shore of MA, where i live, you've got italian pizza closer to the city, and greek pizza further north. i am unfamilliar with authentic chicago style pizza, as i've never been there, so i won't speak on it. i hear it is very good. most of the pizza where i am from is greek.

italian pizza has more of a doughy crust, bigger chunks of tomatoes, thinner sauce, and cheese that's not quite so greasy. greeks have a greasy pizza. they ususally mix a bit of cheddar in there with the mozzarella.

italian pizza has a bit more of an acidic sauce. greek pizza sauce is sweet, and the crust absorbs grease like a sponge.

the best pizza i've ever eaten was made in the greek tradition. this was a joint in the town i grew up in. the place offers pizza "the old way," which means the sauce is put on top of the cheese. i prefer this particular pizza without any toppings. if i could have any pizza it would be that one.

if i'm getting a pizza that isn't on the level of said eatery i usually get something with chicken on it. bbq chicken with bacon is a great pizza. a local joint offers a pie with very little pizza sauce and a bunch of bbq sauce. real solid italian pie.

do you guys get pizza from local establishments or from chains?

              That sounds horrendous mate.

Onions on a pizza are a big no no.

bbq pizza sounded a bit crazy to me at first, but it's damn good with the right toppings and cheese.
