Oldboy for sure. Audition if you know absolutely nothing going in. Never really felt it to be an effective device in Fight Club (the film, very appropriate in the novel). Don't Look Now maybe. Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Requiem For A Dream if you interpret it as "**** going far off the rails in an unexpected manner".

Oldboy completely blew me off guard, it stuck with me for weeks
