Not a U2 fan, but Metallica didn't last. They were finished long ago. Load/Reload was all they had left and even that was borderline garbage.

You want to talk about a band that's lasted? Megadeth. They just keep getting better too.

St. Anger is an awesome album IMO. Such an angry album. Makes me want to skull fuck some midgets. I liked Death Magnetic as well.

Metallica TRIED to evolve. They didn't just keep doing the same **** album after album. They're the Roy Jones of music right now, hell of a ride while it lasted; but now the fans are living vicariously through the after product of something that once was the best around.
