their first four studio albums made me a believer...

the black album with bob rock was a shock, but it grew on me... it has some crazy crunchy riffs and good wah induced solos anyway (specially the god that failed)

though it had some great tracks here and there, the LOAD and RELOAD releases were quite unpleasant for me... that plus the emergence of rap metal made me leave metal for a while and dug up trip hop like massive attack and portishead...

as with metallica and the rest of the FAB 4 of thrash, i still respect them...

If Metallica retired after 1991, they still would have been the best ever. Yes there old stuff is the best, but some of the new is also good.

        garage inc was awesome...

if you think about it, metallica has better "newer" songs (death magnetic) than the young ones like trivium and municipal waste... at least for me anyway...

garage inc was awesome. Metallica has been solid, St. anger was the only cd from them that let me down actully.

Garage Inc. was cool. Death Magnetic did try to appeal to both old fans and new fans, which ******, but the first half of the album where the songs were all thrash were good.

Holy **** that scene looks crazy as ***.

Americans don't know how to rock a concert like they do in Europe and other parts of the world. They would never allow something like that to go down in the U.S now.

Woa... With Megadeath? I can't believe that given the history between Metalica and Dave Mustane.
