    Its crazy

3 perfect games in less then 3 years i think?

I remember there was a big no hitter drought when Randy Johnson threw his Perfecto

At least one no hitter occurs almost every season, but there have only been 21 perfect games ever. 4 have been since 2009 (with another botched in Detroit).

Did anyone see a side angle of the final check swing? Was it borderline or did the ump clearly just give him the call?

I havent seen a side angle but it looked like he held up

The home plate ump immediately made the call and i think he gave it to him. Kinda made up for the Tigers one

From the front when I saw it in real time I immediately thought bs, but seeing it afterward in slow-mo it looked close. The angle is deceptive though, so I'm curious. Honestly I can't believe he even started a swing there, terrible pitch.

              He was nervous as fuccck

But i think that the home plate ump shouldnt be making that call. It should be up to the 1st base umpire

But in that case, theres no time to check with the 1st base ump so IDK

Yeah, odd situation in that it occurred on an uncaught pitch with a full count.
