Then pick up an AK and you visibly see the power. It's uncanny how that weapon fires off powerful rounds and fully auto nonetheless.
I can't control one full auto.....at least accurately. Something about how the recoil starts to blurr my vision and unnerve me.
Ya I like the the .308. But on rapid fire you just cant control the rifle very well. The 7.62x39 will get the job done and with alot less recoil, and with much larger mags.

**** with a rapid fire .308 you need some type of system though. Like a tripod or someone to assist you. That big mag like you say on the AK makes what seems like a fully automatic sniper rifle that can be handled by 1 man. The range doesn't compare, I'm only referring to the knockdown in general.
You're not going to put a scope on a kalishnakov rifle.......and an AK does more complete damage within moderate distance than anything I know of.
On his holster STI EXECUTIVE .40

that looks so trash. when i have the money, im going to be on the look out for a WWII USGI. not those knock offs with the gay ass spoilers and body kits.
The so called legendary reliability the AK47 is vastly overrated. I've seen AKs blow up, I've seen them slam fire, I've seen them jam in almost every way a firearm can jam.
Is it reliable than the current M16?... The answer is definitely yes, but that is due largely to how it was built, with loose tolerances on the action.
The M16/M4A1 can just be as reliable with proper cleaning. I will agree though, that in a prolong battle in the field, the current M16/M4A1 variant is more likely to jam than the AK. Then again, all of the flaws in the M16/M4A1 have been addressed with the introduction of the improved uppers using the piston gas system.
The AK is a good weapon, but if you are looking for reliability similar to AK but wants an accurate and finely built gun, I would suggest Galil (a refined AK47 variant). The Sig 550 and Steyr are also finely built and very reliable.

The AK-47 fires the 7.62 X 39mm. The US and NATO use the 7.62 X 51mm round, also known as the .308 Winchester. These are two vastly different rounds.
In military loads the 7.62 NATO drives a 150-168 grain bullet at 2550-2700fps. The 7.62 x 39mm drives a 124gr bullet at around 2100-2200fps.
As you have noticed the 7.62 x 39mm is no where near as powerful as the 7.62 NATO. The 7.62 NATO is a full powered round, as the 7.62 x 39 is an intermediate powered round.
