If you want to fight the best, then you have to take the test.

Boxing is a sport, dominated by the best boxers. The two best boxers are fighting an unproven boxer who's specialty is sheer combat.

Huge damn difference to me. The idea of Jeet Kun Do is to literally take someone out without doing a damn thing.

Which is a bit scary in that no matter what situation you're in, the philosophy dictates you eliminate someone like a magic trick.

One of the premises that Bruce Lee incorporated in Jeet Kune Do was "combat realism". He insisted that martial arts techniques should be incorporated based upon their effectiveness in real combat situations. This would differentiate JKD from other systems where there was an emphasis on "flowery technique" as Lee would put it. Lee claimed that flashy "flowery techniques" would arguably "look good" but were often not practical or prove ineffective in street survival and self-defense situations.

I still remember in the past when Ali faced a Japanese Martial artist on top of the ring, and the Japanese stayed lying on the floor and keep on kicking at the legs of Ali. The Result was a dead DRAW!

There was this Movie about Bruce Lee fighting a 7 ft 4inches Kareem Abdul Jabbar and the result Bruce Lee won in flying colors.

                    Bruce vs Floyd Jr.:
In actual combat, or Street brawl, Bruce Lee wins because he can use his strong kicks, knee and karate chops to the full!

                    Bruce Lee vs Pacman:
In Street brawl, It will be interesting because Pacman once live along Streets, he can give Bruce Lee a very Good Fight; In the end it will be who's got the stamina, Bruce Lee using both kicks and knee + karate chops to the full force will win!

But if its a Boxing Match then Bruce Lee losses BOTH!
