Not a nurse. My mother is one though. She enjoys it.

Takes a while to get where you want to go but it's a good career choice. Just make sure you like to help people, otherwise it will be a monotonous job that will involve people bugging you for help all day.

A friend is about to start nursing school, *he* things it's a good field all around. Good pay, good stability, good demand. I say go for it. There are more and more men getting into nursing.

I did an internship in a hospital once, I was amazed at the amount of male nurses that were. Male nurses easily outnumbered the female nurses 2:1.

Anyway, all the nurses that I spoke to told me that it was a great career. Great pay but crappy schedule. I think one of them told me they worked 10 or 12 hour shifts for 3 months then get 3 months vacation time. Or something like that, it was a mess of a schedule but they told me it was well worth it ($$$).

I've considered taking a class to meet a few women. But **** graduating Nursing is for women and gay dudes.

Nursing is a great job, schedule can be a little rough but it has great pay, benefits and job security
