Why are Americans the only citizens that seem to have no identity?
I'd rather every kid wasting his life working at McDonalds or selling narcotics could join the military.
Thes want to be revolutionary guys kill me they have no ideal what the real world is like. All they do is complain about stuff on the internet.

I support the selling of drugs. Boxin718 talked about seeing the bigger picture of the U.S. power grab & resources.
I support Agorism & engaging in Counter-Economics (Black Market) as a means to an end:

If this is your reason for being in the military (to extract resources instead of direct self-interest of getting paid, "serving your country" etc,.), then fine.

Now I'm on reserve and the military funds my full education, living expenses, healthcare, and transportation expenses for the next 3-4 years. What other job out there does that for you?
And to answer your question, not many jobs do all of those things but then again, being in the Military is not a productive job. The Military is over sized and for the purpose of beefing up the Manpower, too many young knuckleheads are allowed to join, with the Army recruitment centers being nothing more than a Unemployment agency these days.Last edited by cupocity303; 02-08-2012, 07:17 PM.

I didn't watch the video but I have family in the military that served and served multiple duties and someone outside of family, a role model I'd say, is a Vietnam Vet. From their experiences and imo I would never join the military. Yes, the added pride of serving is something that can't be faked or replicated, only servicemen can truly feel that but the risk is not worth the reward to me. Too much on the line for a country that doesn't give you anything back. That's just my 2 cents and I consider myself very patriotic.
