Tebow is is a Ben/Vick Hybrid...

Quick like Vick, Heavy like Ben, southpaw like Vick, extends the play like Ben, hard to tackle like Ben, defenses go after Tebow and Vick almost the same...

First off, the Tebow show is most likely over after this weekend but it was fun while it lasted.

Second, Tebow is a hell of a dangerous quarterback. He demands that the linebackers stay up on him causing one on one matchups all day.

Now, if he could just discipline himself enough to set his feet every time he throws and quit throwing on the run he would be pretty much unstoppable.

He has a cannon when he is set with proper footwork but he is limp-wristed and floats a wounded duck when he throws on the run.

Cure that and Tebow can live up to the hype.

Vick was definitely better, but Tebow's success this year is very similar to Vick's in his first year starting. Neither was going to kill you for 300 yards on any consistent basis, but you had to account so much for Vick running that he won games off big plays, just like Tebow is.

Difference is Atlanta let Vick run wild all 4 quarters, whereas the Broncos haven't done that once this year, maybe against Minnesota and Pittsburgh, and that's it.

ESPN simply gives attention to what sports fan pay attention too, and talk about, whether it be good or bad. . .

something about tebow draws a crazy amount of fans, and a crazy amount of hate. . i still don't know why the hate, it's not like he is some drama, jersey shore watching guy ASKS for the attention like T.O. . Or a guy who hangs dogs by their necks like vick. . he's just a laid back, good dude who does his thing.

but. . ALL HE DOES IS WIN! all he does is win! WIN HERE. . . WIN THERE. . WIN, WIN, EVERYWHERE! Straight TRUCKING dudes! Pressing that truck stick via Madden all day long!

This is the UK news item that brought Tebow to my attention.

I don't usually watch NFL but I might take in this Bronco Patriots game just to see what he does.

The whole allure to Tim Tebow is this.

He's arguably the best college QB to ever play. Reason because he was so good in college is because in college, they run a much simpler style of offense than in the pro's. Just because you are a good or even great college QB doesn't mean you will be great in the pro's.

So not many people thought he would be good but when the NFL draft came about, the then general manger of the Broncos, took him in the first round which was a shocker.

So he sits on the bench and never plays, the starting QB of the Broncos (a 10 year veteran) is stinking it up so the NEW GM of the Broncos (who happens to be a NFL QB legend) decided the season is done because they are 1-4 and starts Tim Tebow.

Everyone expected Tebow to lose....the mother ***er wins like 6 in a row. Which is very hard to do in the NFL.

So because he's a Christian, good guy and great example to kids, the American public has latched on to him and he's made the news every time he plays.

Plus it's the way he's winning the games. He's stinking it up for 3/4 ths of the game, then when the game is on the line and in the last minutes, the guy turns into the greatest QB ever....it's been amazing.

I can't lie, i'm rooting for him just because it's ***in crazy he's winning like he is and he just beat one of the toughest defenses in the NFL in the Pittsburgh Steelers.
