Although whatever I did in college has absolutely zero relevance to what I do now.
I work for a very successful company substantial enough that it would be classified as "big" but small enough where if you are a good employee, the owners and the ppl managing the place treat you like family.
I've only been with this company 7 yrs but my closest and dearest friends right now are my co-workers and bosses.
I've never been part of a working environment where ppl are so proud of where they work they genuinely bust their asses off not only for themselves but for the company.
Even our portfolio managers who hold sessions twice a year to shed some light on how our investments are doing would routinely tell us that in all the years that they've been dealing with different companies, they've never seen an employee benefits packages as good as ours.
Good owners + good managers + great pay and benefits = Happy and content employees which leads to a very successful company.
