I don't root for them because of the color of their skin, I root for them because they represent our country and since I'm and American and I love my country, I will root for the USA regardless of what color the player's skin are. Anyways, it's disgusting how racist and hypocrite some Hispanic-Americans are when it comes to the USA. I remember back when the World Cup was over they were interviewing some Mexican-American girl and like 99% of Mexican-Americans she was rotting for Mexico instead of the USA, and when asked how she felt that Mexico did not win she responded "it's ok, as long as the USA didn't win the cup, I'm ok with Mexico losing" I was like WTF? Aren't you an American and you want them to lose? You hate the US so much yet your still here? it made me sick!!

Why is it wrong to support the nation of your heritage, just because you're born a few miles further north doesn't mean people should look down on you for supporting who you believe your identity lies with.

It should be an individual's choice.

We have a similar situation here in Britain where Asians support their country of heritage over Britain and I can understand why as some aren't considered British by some people even though they were born and grew up here, I don't look down on them, it's their own choice.
