I don't know man, there's some stiff competition. Sinatra, Cooke, MJ, Bocelli and of course Pavarotti.
Just to name a few..
It's pretty hard for anyone to be able to beat Pavarotti's voice.

For rock singers, he had the most range for sure.
Queen is weird. They had like 30 different styles throughout their career.
Some of it really cool, other parts, rather sucky.

i love freddy, but i don't think so. he's definitely top 5 though.
jeff buckley gets my vote for number 1.
