If C.C Sab1tchia wins the Cy Young.....

over Verlander, it will be a complete joke. Justin Verlander has been without a doubt the best pitcher in the AL and has been better than Sabathia for a while now. Only Doc Holladay has more wins than Verlander since 2007.

Verlander:10-3 2.38 era(in the AL!)124k's/128 innings 6:1 strikeout to walk ratio .84 WHIP and holding runners to .178

    Sabathia: 10-4 3.25 era 3:1 strikeout ratio 1.22 WHIP .253 ba

It hasn't even been close between these two guys.

We're not even at the half way point.

Way too early to talk about the Cy Young homie.

As of right now I have verlander for the AL and Halladay for NL, but like everyone else said, it's still early.

Ya'll are certainly right that it is too early, but I'm just gearing up for Yankee fans to start crying that Sab1tchia deserves it. CC could have a 4 era and still would get 20 wins. Wins for a pitcher on the Yankees mean nothing.

We're not even at All-Star week yet, relax Check.

Let's not forget Zack Greinke won the Cy Young award over CC Sabathia with a 16-8 record, 242 strikeouts, and a 2.16 ERA, 1 complete game, no shut outs.

He beat Felix Hernandez[19-5], Justin Verlander[19-9] and CC Sabathia[19-8].

CC had 19-8 record, 3.36 ERA, 197 strikeouts, 2 complete games, 1 shut out.

So, they don't just consider record. They consider the team you're in and how valuable you were to your team.
