First off it wasn't 1 on 1, the dude attacked him. You could tell in the video that the other guy didn't want to fight, so why would you hit someone that doesn't want to fight back?

Then he is losing the fight and his friend doesn't at least stop it? To at least protect his friend?

The dude wanted to stomp on him while he was on the ground...

If I'm walking down the street and some dude pops out of nowhere and attacks me, that's not a 1 on 1, that's an attack.

If I was to pull out a gun and shoot him in self defense it would be justified. This guy didn't want to fight, hitting on a person that isn't willing to defend themselves is like hitting on the weak, it's cowardly thing to do.
