Originally posted by kbpoetreeExactly cant complain, but wish there were some hot sluts here right now, far as worken out, yep do that, and spend time researching boxing stuff, but have 9 hours of it, cant really train for that long, overtraining is most peoples biggest mistake, that and not eating right
I could easily just walk about get some fresh air. Get some food, check the internet out (this site mainly) and do that and get paid for 9 hours. Thats E-Z!. LOL.

Originally posted by kbpoetreelol, yep it is, i've been worken at Gold's for 6years now, have learned a lot, just wish i would have started boxing at an earlier age, but i wuz a professional track runner until i had a career ending hamstring pull.
I have also done my fair share of track/distance running. I used to run for my town. Never won anything from it because i only stayed at it for about 8 months nd only entered one competition. But it taught me a bit about stamina/fitness and i would say that i enjoyed the training. Boxing is way more fun though. In my opinion.

Originally posted by kbpoetreeits a hell of a lot more fun, gets u in better shape too. I wuz a sprinter, run the 100m best time wuz 10.21, qualified for the 04 olympic trials, but a week later tore the hamstring. boxing work outs are far more intense in whole, but the road work is similar to what a 400m runner would do. I've alwayz been interested in boxing but being from Oklahoma it wasnt an option, its football or nothing basicly wasnt till i moved to Tennessee that i could get into a boxing gym and start training.
Never forget that in your spare time you can train too though. Such as sit-ups etc. I mean its not exactly a direct form of boxing training (like bag work is) but it definetly benefits your boxing.
I worked out the other day that my training regime each day is similar to Nigel Benn's i was soooo surprised! It has barely anything different other than he does more miles of running than me. But i do more skipping, more press ups, and that guerilla cardio thing that was posted up before. I was impressed.
