Yes. Rodgers and Brees are up there with the NFL's best, easily.

    I'm confused.
It's not confusing at all. If you look at the stats the d isn't that good, Luckily their turnover ratio more than makes up for it and Tom Brady having an amazing year. That's why they're 14-2.

Brady has carried a team with a flawed defense to the league's best record and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Patriots rank at or near the bottom of the NFL in several defensive categories and have one of the all-time worst third-down defenses.

The Patriots are on pace to allow 5,987 yards. Comcast SportsNet New England reporter Tom E. Curran pointed out this week that teams that have allowed 6,000 yards since the turn of the century have gone a combined 80-179, with no winning records or playoff appearances among them.
      Pretty much sums it up.

We're on the same side here.

But this D does give up a lot of yards and are ranked close to the bottom in total defense.

That's why coming into a game against a good team, I'm always thinking that our offense has to "outscore" the other team to win.

They're definitely not garbage and are coming along just fine.

But that doesn't take away from the fact that they're very young and untested in the playoffs as a group.

I'm not sure that on a good day by Peyton or Brees that this D can hold them to under 30.

At least Brady can drop 40 on any give day.

But he's due for a bad game himself and the D has to pick him up which could be an adventure.

Hey, I wish I could be as confident as you but I'd be lying if I said I was.
