I Saw A Beggar Today And She Got Stuck In My Mind

i live in the suburbs and i barely see someone beg for money here. so as i walked out of the bank there was this lady probably in her mid 20's on the floor with her 6 month old baby. she was breast feeding too when she was asking me for money. i said i didn't have any.

i got in my car and i can't stop thinking about the baby. i was thinking if i should give her money or not. i decided not to. then i drove to a nearby fastfood and bought some food and water. i got back to the place where the lady was but i cant find her. i drove around for 5 minutes and saw her again. i gave her the food i ordered which was untouched and the water that i got. i called her up and gave her the bag of food and water. as soon as the bag reached her hands tears fell down. i felt sad but kinda pissed. i asked where her husband was and she said she doesn't have one. i feel really bad. i wish i could have helped her more. i hope she and the baby are fine.

Yeah but according to some people we're supposed to tell them to "**** off and get a job" just to give them a message or something.

A lot of beggers have homes abd get money from the government. The ones with babies obviously are high on the list for social housing. Don't be tricked, these peopel can make a lt a day. One begger in london made 100 a day at train stations

i even told her about asking or talking to a social worker but she's like below average when it comes to thinking and u can really see that she wasn't in good health and so was the baby.

Tell the social care system of her, i am sure she has help, but if it is on your mind then do that. The baby should get proper care, it would be sad for them both to die

Maybe it's because I don't see a lot of beggars where I live but I always give them some loot if I have some on me.

well the thing is i dunno if it's just an act. becuz when i use to live back in my country this beggars or street children are controlled by a fawking mob. they use this to get easy money. im pretty exposed to that type of shiet. i think that's the reason why i didn't give her money and gave her food instead. i was about to ask her to get in the car and take her to a social services office but nah she might pull out a knife and rob me. anyway i just wish that someone might take her there or help her out.
