Got a watch for birthday... Is it cool to go and exchange it for another one?

A good friend of mines (a girl) bought a $150 watch yesterday for my birthday, its a cool watch but its a square watch and i hate those, its a really big gesture from her and im very grateful but im wondering if it would wrong for me to go back to the store and exchange it for another one that I really like and its the same price ? Would you she mind or feel disrespected ?

Just don't tell her, if she asks about it just say that you're saving the watch to wear on special occasions.

Don't do it bro especially if she's a really good friend and she sheded out 150 for your ass. Cuz girls feel disrespected when u don't appriciate something they give you and will get mad at you cuz they spent time to pick it out for you.

Wear it every once in a while and especially when you see her and tell her you really like it and such.

Hard decision to make, my grandama once told me that whenever someone gives you a gift, you take it and thank them for it, if you don't like it, you can give it to someone else or exchange it without letting them know.
In this case, it depends how good of a friend she is, is she expecting to see you wearing it? or did she gave you a hint that if it was not your style you can exchange it.

I doubt she'll mind much, square watches are pretty gay.

            She might be offended.

But how can you exchange it without the receipt?

I wouldn't do that. But that's just me. I'm nice like that. Not every one is nice like me.

Once, Dorian bought me this Pikachu watch. I didn't like it much, I actually wanted the Bulbasaur edition watch. But I didn't say anything, I even wore it when we hung out. Sometimes you just gotta take things how they're given to you.

Also, put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel if you found out a good friend of yours exchanged a gift you gave them for something else? Wouldn't you feel like a failure, or like "damn I suck at giving gifts". And would you buy that person a gift again?

If that watch got a pic of Fidel changing would be a crime and you should serve one year or two.
