Gotta respect Lebron for his decision

If you think about it, this is a Lose-Lose situation for Lebron. If Miami doesn't win, that would most certainly ruin Lebron's legacy. And if they do win, he won't get much credit for it.

Also, he lost a lot of money in this deal. He basically gave up $50 million to sign with Miami. This was not a money deal and it wasn't an ego deal(though everyone likes to think so). If Lebron had a big ego, no way would he want to sign with another top player like Wade. If anything, this deal makes him look humble even if he did have a 1 hour special on ESPN. The guy took the Cavs to the finals alone for god sakes, yet he is still willing to show everyone that he wants to win at all costs even if he has to share some power with other players.

People can say whatever they want, but fact is, Lebron said "*** money, I want to win", and you gotta respect that.

EDIT: "THIS WAS MY 8,000th POST". quite fitting that it was on a thread I created about Lebron. Probably the single person I've posted about most.

I will give him this. He put winning above everything. His brand, his money, his fans, his image, he put winning above all of that.

People are missing the point. No matter who's team it is. They all will have rings on someday.
