I never seen someone celebrate like that after a 1st round game, it was as if he won wimbledon lol.

There doing some sort of presentation now like a final game but they deserve it.

Both players received gifts as well as the umpire after the match. The media cameramen took pictures of all three next to the scoreboard.

saw it on tv! Great great match. From the final point, it was as if it was for the championship. The crowd never left the whole time of the interview, up to when they took pictures! And Isner is scheduled to play doubles in half hour from the end of his round 1 match!

total time was 11 hours, 5 minutes, over 3 days. Suspended two nights in a row due to darkness. They played 7 or 8 hours straight yesterday before it was suspended.

LOL!!! That was funny. At 6'9 it's impressive he lasted that long. I mean for a while there he was just relying on his serve, but his body or mind could have given at any moment. Mahut too. It was funny how he was still diving last night on shots.

Did Isner even play doubles? I know Mahut did later in the day.

After this game I hope Tennis gets some new found respect. These guys are super fit to be playing for such a long time. Mahut isn't even a top 100 player and he had to go through the qualifiers to get to Wimbledon. In one of his qualifying matches he won the last set 16-14, he's a true warrior.
