[Do Not Click If You're Grossed Out Easily] Pic Of My Left Eye Post-Cornea Transplant

    I warned you...

I just found this pic in my folder and found it interesting. It is normal, this is how any eye would look after cornea transplant. This was months after though, it use to be the whole eyeball red. It's 100% now. In this pic I have 5 micro stitches, which you obviously can not see.

Hows your vision in that eye?

I had cryosurgery on both my eyes because of holes in my retina, that made my eyeballs dark red like in your pic but only for about 3 days, but it hurt. I used to hate having my eyes dilated, only good thing was time off work I got.

Yes I was completely blind in my left eye and have limited vision in my right one. Now after the surgery my left eye is 20/30 and improving.

Great like I said 20/30. My eye stayed red for a months, and I could not touch it at all. Omg when I grazed it by mistake..ouch. What's cryosurgery? Why did you get it?

Thats cool your eyesight is better now. I'd rather go deaf than lose my eyesight, so I'm always getting check ups because of my retina.

Both my retinas had 2 small holes in them, like they were tearing off. Cryosurgery is just a process where they freeze up the holes. I have to have check ups every 6 months, its annoying having my eyes dilated but I get the day off work so I ain't complaining.

I see. So you never had vision problems? and what were you diagnosed with, it was just called 2 small holes in your retina? That sounds crazy. I have to check it up every 2months. I went once a month from July 2009-Feb 2010 now I only have to go once every 2 months, my next appointment is July 13th, I just went May 5th. So is your eye okay now? Were you a boxer or what? If so, did docs tell you not to box no more? They told me I can't box anymore or else my eye pops open.
