JPW, that remark on the Tszyu/Hatton pic thread was meant to be humorous and I still think it was after re-reading my post. I didn't go on and on about that fight as I pretty much agree with the results and couldn't care less who won. Seriously, I think you may have more emotion invested in it than me and therefore took to heart what was one isolated joke. If I didn't give a damn about insulting you, I wouldn't even be checking back to see if you agree or to see why you don't agree.
Now, Martinwbc ... you actually brought JPW's post to my attention with your remark that you left in my visitor book or whatever the **** that was. You said, "You're disrespecting great fighters." I don't do that. When I first read it, I recalled posting somewhere when viewing a picture of Hatton and along with my knowledge of his weight gains between fights, that "Now there's a 250 pd'er yearning to be free" or something like that but I'm not even sure that was on this forum. Turns out, you were referring to the post that JPW remarked on. Again, it was one remark that was meant to be humorous and I didn't go on and on about it. You are obviously(imo) a partisan fan of British fighters, that's cool and all but frankly I think you're being disingenous and making the claim that I'm disrespecting fighters(Hatton's greatness is arguable at this point, he's just at the beginning of his defining period if you ask me) just because you know that the opposite is true. Again, I think you may be hyper-sensitive to any comments concerning certain fighters that aren't overly complimentary.
Martin, you have been extremely critical of fighters who are undeniably great such as Bernard Hopkins so the hypocrisy isn't lost on me. You obviously have some animousity stored up that you haven't been able to dissipate so it seems you've decided to pee in my cornflakes to gain some modicum of satisfaction. I stopped short of just calling you a liar ... well not really, my message above to you is the same thing but much more pc.
