Originally posted by BombardierHey paul750, did you know that Reisen (the chocolate chew) is a German word that was used to describe the crusades launched by the Teutonic knights against pagans in northeastern Europe? And the ****s modeled themselves after the Teutonic knights and launched similar "crusades" against people they wanted to eradicate. So it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that the name of those chocolates is a synonym for Holocaust.
Maybe you don't care, but I saw your sig and felt compelled to share this .

Originally posted by McKayYou know the Teutonic Knights organization still exists. Do you also know that this organization was persecuted by the **** Regime. They are currently based in Vienna, Austria. And are trying to regain property that was siezed over the last 2 decades. You know the Teutonic Knights were still the rulers of "Ducal Prussia" until 19th Century when it fell under the rulership of the Dukes of Branderburg. The Pope at the time was really opposed to that.
The Hospitallers are still around as well as the Knights of St. John. Only the Templars were ****** enough to get banned by the Pope. After the crusades were finished they were pretty much useless to the church and they had a lot of valuable land that everybody wanted to take from them. The Hospitallers were smart enough to keep serving a useful purpose as the best pirate-hunters in the Mediterranean.
