I played the demo and i just couldn't get into it, i might buy it anyway.
I really hope the graphics from the full game are better than the demo because the demo looked like ****.

You actually have to be a skilled player to be effective.
The maps are much bigger and you play with up to 24 players at a time. Your team is made of squads and you must work together to make it through the game.
Unlike MW2 where its pretty much a death match no matter what game you play. Plus the levels are so small it takes no skill to kill anyone.
Plus there are vehicles so getting around isnt boring.
I was always a big MW2 fan but EA DICE got this **** right.
This game really set itself apart.
In all honesty i dont know of anything MW2 has on this game...like for real.
-Weapons Selection?
-Are there killstreaks?
-Do you have to earn the use of an Apache or Tank?
-Controls? Does the set-up feel right for an FPS
-Online Game Modes?
I really like MW2, but it's kinda getting old and boring. No signs of a map pack anywhere. No dedicated servers. No option for filtering off certain maps. Constant Lag.
I'm thinking about getting BC2, but I'm on a tight budget and I already have plans for God of War 3.

even if you love MW2 i recommend the game simply because it is a great war game with a whole different feel that MW2
MW2 is very quick, small, and lets be honest chaotic(as in no team work or gameplan)
its a good quick in quick out game
but BC2 is the type of game that you take your time with. you move from cover to cover with your small squad division to complete your missions. Maps are much larger so camping really isnt an issue. Players are encouraged to join teammates and complete missions by added XP so players wont just go crazy and do their own thing.
Since ive played it, granted i only got it today, it seems like the mature version of MW2

no killstreaks but its not needed in this game TBH
You do have weapon selections...you can have Assault, Recon, Medic, and Engineer...certain weapons are in certain categories but you can pick from every weapon once you die...unlike MW2 your pretty much stuck with your pre-made loadouts.
You get to use apaches and tanks...as in your are the driver... haha
For game modes MW2 has them beat but really how many different game variants do you play?
BC2 has
Team Deathmatch(4 squads made up of 4 members)
Capture the Flag
Rush(havnt played it)
Team Rush( havent played it)
but i have been playing Capture the Flag all night. Since the maps are so big and the way the teams are made into squads its really fun going from flag to flag with your squad flanking and manuevering around people.
This game is for a strategist which i love.
and yes the controls seem very tight, even though shooting people from such a long distance takes some getting used to. and its not a good idea to stand in one spot or run in the open...but then again in which FPS is that a good idea? haha

the best part of this game is the sound.
i can tell where sniper fire is coming from by my speakers alone.
when you shoot indoors you can hear your shells bounce off the wooden floor. Also the percussion of the shot is relative to where you are...if you are indoors its very loud and so forth. Really incredible work
there is the depth of field sound effect...you can tell the things that are close and the things that are far away which comes in very handy. MW2's sounds was fairly bland for how much praise that game got
