    i believe that cop was not only fired but issued a public apology to the player...it was ryan moats of the houston texans team...



    i'm saying i think he was fired because i know there was a report about how it was determined that the officer was not in the parameters of his job description...something about how the police are to uphold the law but are also sworn to serve and protect civilians...denying his right to see his mother in law before she died because of a minor traffic offense violated that oath...

      they only put him on administrative leave. unless they changed it later.
