Alright alcholics, I need some help. I want some of this stuff. I've found a few places online that sell it and will ship it here to the US, but I want to make sure I'm getting the real stuff, not the fake ****. I have been told that I just need to make sure it has wormwood in it and not "essence of wormwood". Is this correct?

yeah its right, ore you could just add warmwod of your own.

i recomend spanish absinth, strong, real warmwood and tastes real good.

I'm sorry to say that I lived in Europe for 6 months and had Absinth between 20-25 times before I got the real truth.

There is no more real Absinth. Unless you make it yourself (home-made) style. If any of the stuff you are looking at looks like it comes from legit-name brand companies it isn't real.

Although even though its fake it might still be worth trying for a serious alchoholic. The fake stuff tastes like black-licorice and has a powerfull odor (very hard to get down). It does give you a slightly different kind of drunk though. I would compare it to drinking a bottle of Nyquil, and then popping a lot of Advil, adding maybe 1 hit of Marijuana. (If you want this effect you will have to drink alot of it.)

I was looking at this site

I hope you're wrong about it not being around anymore. Leather needs to tell me the deal. I have heard two different places that the real stuff comes from, Spain or the Czech Republic. It seems like everyone has a different idea or opinion on it everywhere you go. I just hope to get some or the real stuff so I can decide for myself.

sheep****er should have some good insight. me & albert wanted to get a bunch too. she told me that everytime you order it from the States you have a 50/50 chance of it getting confiscated @ customs.

Spaniard was suppossed to send me a bottle of Absinthe, I doubt he ever did.

I have checked with some ********* friends and all of them say that the absinthe sold in websites is f'n caca. And smuggling it through customs is hard, but not impossible.
