what's a good browser besides firefox

    what's a good browser besides firefox

    Firefox does not work anymore for me and it will not open up so i need another browser preferably one that is not internet explorer but that is secure and safe

    any recommendations?

    Opera is pretty good.



    Have you tried just uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox?

      There is a browswer by Apple that can be used with Windows called Safari...

          If you want to get Firefox back, you can still do that. But you might have to go on their forums and ask. I can try to help if you can describe the problem a little better.

          But otherwise, Opera is a good browser.

            when i try to open firefox i am told that it cannot open and is unable to open at the moment.

            i went to a website were they offer technical help

            they said i should uninstall it and delete all of the folders involved wih firefox and then install it again but it does not work.



            i just installed windows explorer 8 and i get the same message

            "internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"

            so it is not just firefox i see

              Don't do Chrome....you will get a virus eventually.

                i use google chrome i love it! its similar to firefox but i find it easier to use...i havent gotten any viruses with chrome. ive been using it for about 4 months now.

                    i just installed opera and it does not work either.

                    i cant open the internet regardless of the program i use
