I remember he offered to refer me to a job working with him once, sent over the job spec and such over DM. I wasn't about to move all the way out there but it was nice of him to offer.

He seemed like a good dude beneath the cryptic posting. Rest in peace

        Damn.

        Zaroku, I can't believe you're gone hermano.

Back in 2017, he emailed me and I gave him my phone number. He left two voice messages for me, and I always regretted not calling him back. Even more so now.

Always loved talking to him about Mexican food, Southern Cali life, dogs, King of the Hill, and clowning B.utler. He had a crazy style of posting so I could understand why people ignored him, ironically I had some of my best conversations here with him. He was a funny ass dude, always made me laugh.

If you were able to get past his wacky posts, you can see he had some brilliance upstairs, he had a lot of wisdom in that mind of his.

        R.I.P. Zaroku, miss you vato.

        Shalom

We met more than a few years ago... Most people may not be aware but Z was an incredibly intelligent, well educated individual. He was a character in real life in a nice way but it was a CHOICE. We shared a burrito and I must say given this trajedy I am glad I made the effort to see him.

Most people don't know that he earned degrees in both Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at Berkeley, where he had a scholarship, and some of it while living in his car. He was very intelligent if you knew him.

Poor guy. Remember that movie All dogs go to heaven? Hope it's true so they can be reunited one day.

Rip Z-Man. Your back and forth with Spoon23 after the May-Pac fight was legendary. You'll be missed.

I used to enjoy reading your convos. I was amazed at how you could reply to a lot of his posts.

                You was the Zaroku whisperer

I will admit i made fun of him. I even thought he was a troll when he first started posting but that was just him.

R.I.P Zaroku. i hope you are slaying some ghost poon as we speak

Damn, that's crazy, RIP Zaroku. Boxing Scene definitely lost two of their biggest characters with him and Larry, longtime pillars of this community

A lot of his comments were.......unique.
He admitted to occasionally par take in the herbals and baked goods

I wish I would have taken him up on his Japanese wimmin offers
