I bought a fridge the other day and didn't want to wait 2 weeks for delivery, so I called some local service and 65 bucks they came, took the fridge, and it was delivered to my house in 15 minutes. It's a 2 man company and they get booked for furniture, TVs, appliances, etc. They sometimes have 10-15 deliveries a day (not including tips).

yes, that and doing delivery for local small businesses. lots of small businesses dont have a warehouse and will need to ship out pallets with finished goods to an offsite storage location.
