Had a similar experience with the neighbours Japanese akita years ago.

Foggy and rainy British evening, a few lads chilling at the bottom of the street. I was sat on a wall.

All of a sudden we saw a Japanese Akita running towards us at speed, it appeared through the fog.

Everyone scattered . I quickly climbed the neighbours wall and was elevated. The Akita then tried to get at me by climbing onto bins, the gate and tried leaping to where I was.

Was lucky, some broad came and shouted at the dog and it ran to her, otherwise my balls woukd have been bitten off

I got bit by a dog once, it happens so fast you have zero time to do anything but run. By the time it registered I got bit, I got bit 3x.
