Covid: when’d ya get it? Whatdya feel?

I had a splitting headache for four days a couple months ago. Glad it was this weakass mutated version. Not sure I would have handled a more extreme version of the virus very well.

I had my first case late last year... surprisingly mine was fairly quick compared to the rest of my family members.. I got a slight sore throat and had a running nose but that was it. Felt terrible for 1 day but after that, i was fine but still had a running nose for like a week.

Had the OG strain before vaccines. It ****** as I was recovering from surgery. Had it about 10 days.

Omicron was a cold. Got it one year to the day after the first time. It lasted a few days.

The last time I had it, it was mostly just a headache. I wouldn't have even known I had it but my wife had more severe symptoms so I tested.

Just got it on the 7th of Jan. First two days felt like the flu, fever, chills, fatigue and aches all over. I basically slept through it. Little bit of sore throat for a few days. Took a lot of naps, lost all sense of taste and smell, just now getting it back a little. Overall not a big deal. I have had flus and colds that were worse.

Still don't know if I got it.

            I probably did.

Xmas eve 2021 everyone at the party i was at got covid.

Including my gf at the time.

Was also playing poker that night and everyone at the poker table tested positive and got sick.

Never got tested. Just isolated for a week. Nevee felt sick.

Another time, early 2022 my little nephews and sister and her husband got it. They all got sick and tested positive.

My house at the time and her house is literally next to each other.

Im always at her house and her kids always run to my house to bother me.

I for sure got it there too but never got sick. Didn't bother testing and just isolated for a week..

My first go around was around the same time and more or less the same symptoms.

I recently tested positive again around Xmas. Wasnt too bad either, had the flu about 2 weeks before that that really slapped my arse silly. Wife had one of her doctors prescribe me the antiviral covid medication called Paxlovid. Side effects of that crap made me feel worse than the actual Covid symptoms I had. After the 2 initial pills ,i told the wife I wasn't taking anymore of that crap.

Good to hear that it wasn’t that bad. Did you get the vaccine ?

honestly I never really get sick (unless it’s like alcohol withdrawal )

I got it last July, wasn't too bad like a mild cold with a runny nose and sneezing. Lasted about 3 days.

The only thing that was noticeably different than a regular cold was the cough. Wasn't a painful consistent cough, but it felt stronger and deeper when I did cough, if that makes sense. I was able to smoke weed just fine, usually when I have a bad cough I can't smoke without choking for next 5 minutes.

                    I was vaccinated too.
