Since number of Whites, Blacks and Hispanics in the ISA are not equal I calculated the deaths on a per capita basis for these three groups. This is what I came up with:

Deaths per capita
Deaths (based on race)
1. Black 11,574 1 in 3,456
2. White 47,304 1 in 4,149
3. Hispanic 7,966 1 in 7,452

This means that the black community is suffering greater deaths form Fentanyl, and the white community is a not too distant second, while Hispanics have the least. It is sad regardless of race and a further proof that something needs to change.

Why would anyone care which race is dying because of this poison?

The point is, regardless of colour, background or ethnicity - these people need help. The war on drugs has failed miserably, treat addicts and users as patients, not criminals. Give them the help they need.
