How much should someone pay in taxes?

So I'm sure we've all heard the debate about Elon musk and him not paying enough taxes. Warren is really going after Elon for "not paying his fair share".

He will pay more taxes than anyone in America and is building things that dems support for a clean future.

Hes said to be paying 13 BILLION in taxes.

How much do you think is enough?

Only businesses should pay taxes, not individuals.

I'm ok with business having separate taxes than average people. But I think we should have a flat tax for everyone else.

Income should NEVER be taxed, only sales of things like cigarettes, they should also legalize ALL drugs and firearms and tax them at 20%.

I agree. We're taxed BEFORE we get our money and AGAIN when we use or money.

I say no more then 15%.

These CAREER politicians and their children's children get set for life.

Look at AOC. Used to be worth $12 an hour. Now is a Millionaire...

FKN Hunter ***** saling "paintings" for favors I mean money.

Being a politician should be a part time job and pay like one. They should also have a REAL job also to support them.

Some senators, including Ms Warren, have backed the idea of taxing not only the income of America's richest citizens, but also the rising value of the assets they hold, like shares.

Many of America's wealthiest citizens don't take a directly taxable salary. Instead, they hold their wealth in shares and other investments, then take out loans using those assets as collateral.
I support finding a way the tax the super rich who use this trick. But ****** way for her to go about it, she seems to have picked a fight with somebody who actually does pay his fair share.

No American should pay over 10% in total taxes.

If 10% is enough for God, the government should be able to make due with that.

Musk nails it. Why should I give my money to people with a track record of crapoy spending?
