Question if you support VACCINE MANDATES

If the vaccine is so good and effective. Why do you care if I am vaccinated or not?

I don’t know how things are in America but the UK biggest concern is our NHS being overwhelmed. Vaccination reduces the strain on our hospitals.

Thoughts on the unvacced who haven’t been sick once since that start of this?

I'm not an absolutist when it comes to freedom of choice, there are things that everyone has to do or must not do in modern society, so there are certain instances in which I think mandating vaccination is reasonable.

If a vaccine made it so a vaccinated individual has no more than a vanishingly small chance catch or subsequently spread the virus, I'd be all for mandating it, even if it wasn't all that safe.

If it had only a moderate impact on transmission or infection but was absolutely, unequivocally safe to the point where the chance of you being injured or killed by the vaccine was truly negligible, I'd probably also be all for mandating it.

Current coronavirus vaccines don't seem to meet either of these thresholds - its impact on transmission is moderate at best and negligible at worst, and there are serious doubts about their safety. The vaccine's uptake should be entirely optional with no coercion by any source of authority permitted.

Well most of us were unvaccinated at the start and middle of this. Innit homeboy.

Thoughts on tax payers that never use public transport?

We pay tax to fund our healthcare system regardless of whether we use it or not. Non-profit so we pay a tiny fraction of what you do (per capita) and don’t ever have to worry about going bankrupt!

as i said before, history always repeats itself. we are repeating what happened in 1930s germany, with some having more rights than others, a minority being blamed for the countries problems with lots of propaganda and the public taking it hook, line and sinker. what next, we gonna start burning books that criticise vaccines, boycott shops of people who havent had the vaccine? hell, some countries are already starting to put them in camps, stripping them of their work. ALL FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF SOCIETY, just like back then.

There is no reason to mandate vaccines against a virus that has a 99.5% survival rate. They should have had elderly and compromised individuals get the shots and left the rest of us to choose for ourselves without all the propaganda. They politicized the whole thing, saw the power they had over the people and now there is no going back
