Some are.. yes. With the fever of antivaxxers there are going to some that are lying. Either because they are born liars or for financial gain down the road. It happens all the time. Bogus lawsuits for injury and false insurance claims are not unusual.

If it helped people not die it wasn't a complete failure but it certainly didn't do what they claimed it would which was get us back to normal and eradicate the virus

Remember that the Delta and Omicron strains weren't around when theses vaccines were developed. The virus changed and with the speed the variants spread it's damned hard to keep up. No they didn't eradicate the virus but like you said it saved a lot of lives. They are working in a new vaccine that targets parts of the virus that up to now haven't changed in the various variants. Vaccination is still the easiest and safest way to protect yourself from severe illness.

Billions of vaccines administered and Madison can only pull a few stories claiming the vaccine affected them, no proof that it did. We do have proof that it saved millions of lives though.
