moderna CEO says youll need another booster around autumn time, doesnt have any data regarding the 3rd booster but says he doesnt expect it to 'hold great' until then. moderna working on vaccine for omicron despite many scientists saying that the spread of that variant could signal the end of the pandemic. Pfizer CEO in complete agreement with moderna, says youll need another booster and further ones down the line

Omicron while weaker is still putting many in hospital. It's well established that protection of the vaccines weakens over time, so yes vaccines will be needed if Omicron is still around at the end of the year. C'mon man, think a little.

Hospitalisation are much lower than January which is mainly thanks to vaccination. Delta infection has been steady for months.

'He said some 30-40% of the 17,000 patients in hospital with Covid "haven't actually been vaccinated at all"'. so thats up to 70 percent of patients in hospital with covid who are jabbed, wow sounds like its really the 'pandemic of the unvaccinated'

The fact it’s weaker is pretty much irrelevant to vaccine efficacy if the structure of the virus isn’t what the vaccine is targeting. i.e large number of mutations to the spike protein.
The fact you fail to grasp this shows your clear lack of understanding.
Mutations and vaccine efficacy were discussed before the vaccine had been approved. It was common knowledge that future variants might evade the immune response.
Luckily the vaccines have been strong at preventing deaths which is why were aren't seeing the 1000+ daily deaths as we did with the first two waves.
