Because the game doesn't end at stats. It's about plays made, when you made them and against who. That's how games are won, and wins are the most important thing.

Lamar did that job the best this year.

Lamar head to head outplayed the other QBs in big games constantly this season and did so while winning games. Goff, Lawrence, Purdy, Tua, Stroud, Smith, Herbert, Burrow (played injured), Stafford... All got outplayed. Name me another QB who outplayed so many stars this year. There isn't one. Yes he uses his legs to get the job done. Those yards and touchdowns count too. You don't get less points of your QB ran the ball in. We don't get to pretend it didn't happen because we would rather see a pretty pass. The Ravens didn't just win those games, Lamar outplayed those dudes to get the wins.

Take Josh Allen for example. The team starts 6-6 because while he put up big stats he kept making big mistakes that ultimately cost his team games. Thats not an MVP, despite the big stats. They finished the season strong when he started doing LESS superhero ****. His stats went way down but the wins went up. He was more of an MVP in the end of the season then at the beginning.

Tua's passing stats are out of this world this year. The Dolphins couldn't win their biggest games though, except for Dallas. Gave the division away at the end. That's not an MVP.

What good teams did Dak beat this year? Philly once. Who else? Rams and Seattle... That's it? It's not enough. Dak stacked his stats against bad teams. The good teams mostly held him in check and beat him. It's not enough for an MVP.

Purdy played great this year but he doesn't drive the bus on his team like Lamar does. Plus he got stomped out by the Ravens at home. That settles that.

              Stats are worthless
Especially when your guy is constantly in the middle of the pack

CBS Sports had Dal tied for 4th toughest schedule. Balt 21st

              Lamar shined in 3 games.....
vs Det, Mia ( ) and LAR.

He talked about passing for 6000 yards once OBJ was signed
              Baby steps, Lamar.
              Get 4000 1st.

At least 6 QBs better than Lamar

Teams win, unless QBs don't need offensive linemen and a stout D to hold leads.

Dak or Goff should be MVP

              Edit -
              Carr is a better QB
              Stats don't lie
(If Lamar was on the right side of the stats, YOU WOULD AGREE).
Carr would be an MVP caliber QB on a better run team.

Lamar is not my guy. I'm rooting for KC this weekend and Mahomes is my favorite QB ever.

Speaking of Mahomes, do you understand that he outplayed Hurts in the last SB?

Anyway, back to my original question, if you stopped trolling for a minute you would learn something.

Why is Lamar about to be a 2 time MVP?

The only reason I see is his running ability.

Now, why is it he lacks in so many statistical categories ?
And why do you refuse to acknowledge TEAMS win.
Do QBs throw the ball to themselves ?

OK, so you don't see his running ability as being beneficial to his team while literally everyone else does?

                      Yes its beneficial.
Fields is a good runner as well (people are still trying to hype him up).
Why can't his PASSING be as good ?
Allen is a better example of what a QB who can run than Lamar.

He doesn't deserve to be the MVP but hype will win out.

Can't wait to see Lamar with a tougher Strength of schedule.
