Of the 2, Lamar would be more worthy but that ain't saying much.

Lamar did 1 thing ''special' once.
His biggest games were vs teams with losing records.
One of his biggest was vs 0-8 Cin where he ran for 500 yds and threw for 600 yds.

DJ did one thing ''special'' win a postseason game.
His previous years were pure mid.

We will see how Watson does in his 1st full season with that shiny new contract.

It's a shame athletes are not forced to give money back when they fail.

Oh come on it's a farce to even compare the two anyway. Jones has been barely competent for only one season in his career.

This year, if Baltimore had Lamar in the playoffs, they beat Cinci and face Mahomes in the AFC championship.

Lamar is worth whatever he wants because QBs are so important that they get to name their price. Let's say he walks away... Who does Baltimore replace him with?

I lumped them together because they are both unworthy.
What has Lamar done for Balt besides lose every game vs playoff level teams ?
OK, 1 time MVP
OK, won 1 postseason game (same as Danny Dimes)
Balt, as a team, is better than NYG.
Switch places and Danny Dimes might have won an MVP.

Lamar avgs 175 yds passing per game (70 games)
Danny, 214 in 54 games.
Both have 64% comp.

Lamar has Danny beat in the running dept. by a huge margin.
As we see year after year, QBs who play like RBs end up hurt or fail when it counts.

We shouldn't use ''if'' as a reason to upgrade a player.
''If'' can apply to anyone
Both negatively and positively.

Example -
If KC had a true RB and a top 10 defense, they would win every game.

they are so alike right down to the lack of playmaking, lack of accuracy, and all out blatant chokes in the playoffs.

even their drop in play is similar due to injuries. schaub was never the same after his foot surgery same with dak and his injuries.

Not a Cowboy fan, so them failing is probably for the best (no diss to their fans. We all have teams we don't like ).
I don't recall Matt having more than 1 good season...
Dak, when healthy, will usually be in the top 10 stat wise.
Dak, for the most part, is a reg sea winner.

It's weird....Some QBs will have a ton of talent around them and not win titles.
May not even be a winning team.
